Erasmus+ supports the objectives of the European education agendas, the modernisation, internationalisation and qualitative improvement of higher education in Europe. It aims to strengthen the international competences, personal development and employability of students, increase the attractiveness of the EU as a place to study and research, and contribute to the sustainable development of higher education in third countries. Erasmus+ focuses on promoting mobility for the purpose of learning and transnational cooperation.
In order to achieve its objectives, the Erasmus+ Programme foresees the implementation of the following key actions during the period 2021-2027:

  • Key Action 1: Learning mobility of individuals
  • Key Action 2: Cooperation between organisations and institutions
  • Key Action 3: Support for policy development and policy cooperation.
