Process

  1. Applying to take part in the BIP by the deadlines (15 June for the winter semester of the following academic year / 15 September for the summer semester of the following academic year); Application link
  2. The International Office reviews the applications in collaboration with a selection committee comprising professors, and the departments are then informed as to whether participation in the BIP can be funded through Erasmus+ grants.
  3. The International Office concludes the contractual agreement with the participating universities in the BIP. The ECTS number and the number of students that the universities will send to the organizing institution of the BIP abroad are recorded within. 
  4. The department designs the teaching unit together with the cooperating universities and sets the corresponding dates.
  5. The department recruits the participants and sends the names to the International Office of h_da by the agreed deadline. The start is with the beginning of the virtual component or the face-to-face unit - depending on which takes place first.
  6. The International Office nominates the students at the university hosting the BIP.

  7. The International Office supports the students/employees in submitting all documents required for Eramus+ funding and pays the scholarship accordingly. 
  8. Follow-up: Reporting from the department to the International Office up to 4 weeks after the end of the BIP.
