Winter Schools
Many partner universities and other providers offer short programs with various subject orientations during the winter months. Participation fees are charged for the courses, however, some partner universities of h_da offer full or partial scholarships for students.
Once winter schools are reported to us, you will find the information on this website.
If you would like to participate in a winter school, two steps are required:
- Register directly with the program provider.
- Please register via our MoveON portal and send us the PDF by email.
South Korea, Hanyang International Winter School
Our partner university Hanyang University in Seoul, South Korea, is offering a Winter School on campus in Winter 2025/26. Students can choose between two program periods or apply for both. Detailed information can be found on the Hanyang University website.

Program A: December 26, 2025 – January 9, 2026 – Application deadline: November 22, 2025

Applications are submitted directly through the program.
Costs
The tuition fee is KRW 1,500,000 per program (approx. 1,000 EUR).
Student dormitories are available, and students may also arrange off-campus housing.

Hanyang University Winter School Information
United Arab Emirates, Ajman University: Winter Study Tour
Ajman University, located near Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, is offering two winter schools with courses in business, engineering, IT, and architecture.
Time Periods
Period A: 12.01.2025 - 18.01.2025
Period B: 26.01.2025 - 01.02.2025
Costs
The tuition fees are approximately €790.
If you apply before 5 November, the costs are only around €700.
Accommodation, study costs, entrance fees for planned activities etc. are included.
Important: The flight and visa are not included in the price.
