Erasmus+ International Staff Week

The Erasmus+ International Staff Week took place on the Mediencampus of the Hochschule Darmstadt (h_da), one of the biggest media campus in Germany with a diverse offer of study programmes. Its a unique listed ensemble in the picturesque town of Dieburg. Located in the heart of the Rhine-Main region and next to the city of Darmstadt, known as the “The City of Science” and “Digital City”, it is a great place to experience German culture and get to know professionals and colleagues from around the world. 

This year’s Erasmus+ Staff Week was labeled “CrossMedia Connect” and followed diverse daily topics from different fields of media. We emphasized on societal chances and risks of contemporary technologies, discussed the current development in various creative fields and shared best practices for modern teaching methods. We rounded it off with a broad cultural programme, tasty "Glühwein" and the opportunity to get to know our students.

Programme at a glance:

During the Erasmus+ International Week "CrossMedia Connect", the participants were able to experience life at the Mediencampus and h_da through the eyes of our students and staff by:

• taking a tour of the Mediencampus and its unique labs and facilities
• panels, workshops and exchange on our daily topics 
• exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Sites Mathildenhöhe & Grube Messel (Pit Fossil)
• meeting and getting to know their international colleagues and 
• promoting the home institution at our Study Abroad Fair
