Workshop: Challenges to your own research question in the sustainability sciences

How can a research project be successfully orientated towards solving social problems? How do you formulate a research question and a methodological framework appropriate to the problem?

This is where the workshop on 24 July 2024 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) aims to provide support: Based on ten steps according to Christian Pohl and colleagues (2017), the workshop supports participants in identifying their research question in the context of the social problem respectively, as well as clarifying the relevant actors and their disciplines. Short theoretical inputs from the speakers alternate with longer phases in which participants relate what they have heard to their own research projects. The workshop is aimed in particular at those who are in the process of preparing an exposé for the h_da PhD Centre for Sustainability Sciences or are in the early stages of their doctorate.
