We're looking for a student assistant (1st October - 31st December 2026) to help the International Office prepare and run the Erasmus+ International Staff Week.
Who are we?
We are employees at the International Office (IO) and the Competence Centre for Sustainable Development (KNE) .
What is the Erasmus+ International Staff Week?
The IO organises the Erasmus+ International Staff Week once a year. During this week, we welcome international guests to explore a specific topic. This year, we are hosting the Staff Week together with the KNE from 30th November to and including 4th December. The theme is ‘Sustainability in Action’.
What would your tasks be?
You would support us with all organisational tasks:
- Preparation of the necessary materials for the Staff Week
- Responding to enquiries and communicating with international guests before and during the Staff Week
- Supporting the event
What should you provide?
- Organisational skills
- Very good English language skills (at least B2)
- Very good German language skills (at least B2)
- Enrolment in a bachelor's degree programme at a German university / university of applied sciences
- Open personality
- Strong communication skills, sociability and ability to work in a team
- Reliable, conscientious and independent way of working
- Flexibility, also in terms of time during the last week of November for the Staff Week itself
- Good IT skills (MS Office)
What are the key details of the position?
- Dates: From the beginning of October to the end of December
- Time: 20 hours per month, to be agreed upon
- Place: Darmstadt Campus, International Office, building C 23
- Payment: € 15,20/hour (Bachelor students)
