AI and cultural competencies - How will it serve me?

Dates: 3-5 June 2026

Application deadline: 1 May 2026

Registration fee: 250.000 kr.

This course focuses on inclusion and cultural competencies, and how this knowledge can be applied in professional work and everyday life. Emphasis is placed on how culture, attitudes, prejudice, and power structures shape communication, decision-making, and access — both in human interactions and in digital systems.

Artificial intelligence is introduced as one of many tools increasingly used in contemporary society. The course examines how such technologies reflect cultural contexts, norms, and potential exclusion. The emphasis is on critical awareness, responsibility, and understanding of impact rather than technical mastery.

Throughout the course, participants work systematically on how the course content relates to their own professional roles, projects, and everyday situations, with the aim of strengthening cultural competence and inclusive practices.
