Mobility for Training
Would you like to pursue further education/training in another European country? The Erasmus+ programme supports you in your plans at an institution in an Erasmus+ programme country.
Eligibility requirements
The following requirements must be met:
- You are employed at h_da (unfortunately, visiting/assisting lecturers are not eligible for Erasmus+ funding). Trainees can also participate.
- The planned project is related to your area of responsibility at h_da (including language courses).
- The planned mobility lasts at least 2 days (days of stay).
- The host institution is located in an Erasmus+ programme country (see below) in which you are not a resident.
- Funding for repeated formats (e.g., language courses in the same language) within two academic years is not possible.
- A maximum of two participants from h_da can take part in a mobility programme (e.g., Staff Week, language course) together and at the same time.
- You must submit all necessary documents for Erasmus+ staff mobility to our International Office completed and on time. Further information on the procedure and the documents to be submitted can be found under Procedure.
Eligible activities
The following activities are eligible for funding:
- Stays at a university in an Erasmus+ programme country as part of
- Job Shadowing
- International Weeks / Staff Weeks
Staff weeks at our partner universities can be found in the following list.
- Participation in workshops and trainings
- Participation in language courses
Not eligible for funding:
- Research stays and/or conference trips, preparatory trips
Eligible host institutions
The following institutions are eligible as host institutions:
- Existing partner universities of h_da in an Erasmus+ programme country.
The Erasmus+ program countries include the EU member states, Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, and Turkey. - An Erasmus+ cooperation agreement between Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences and the host university is not mandatory for Erasmus+ mobility for further education and training purposes. However, the host university must participate in the Erasmus+ programme and hold a valid Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE).
- The institution is active in the labor market or in the fields of general and vocational education or youth.
